  1. Tom Dunn won a local Marathon race from Rathnew to Rathdrum, a distance of about seven miles. There were four men in the race, but only one finished. He is also a famous rabbit trapper.
    Mick Jordan generally known as "Slippery" is a famous step dancer and singer, he is also a great storyteller of 1916.
    Miss A. Jordan, Rathdrum is a famous singer, she has won many medals and prizes for her singing. She also broadcasts songs from Athlone.
    Miss Cahall, Wicklow is a great Irish Dancer. She has won many silver medals.
    Sydney Sheane is a great racer who has won many races in Wicklow.
    A great strong man who can put one cwt over his head, and can throw it twenty yards. Jim Turner.
