    13. Non-starchy food for Baby
    Cup of flour tied in a muslin cloth and boiled in a saucepan of water for four hours. Starch is scraped from outside and ball inside is powdered and prepared like cornflour.
    14. Chilblains
    1/ Wash made from a few handfuls of bran boiled in a few gallons of water.
    2/ Bathe in water in which celery has been boiled.
    15. Earache
    1/ A piece of roasted onion to be used as a wad (?) and placed in the ear.
    2/ A few lbs of salt heated on a pan and put in a bag and placed over the ear.
