  1. I live in the townland of Ricehill in the parish of Kilmore and the barony of Upper Lough Tee.
    There are nine families and thirty people living in the townland. There is no common family name in the townland.
    The majority of the houses are slated.
    There is two old people living in this townland they are Mrs Pointz and Mrs McKay.
    They do not speak Irish.
    Houses are very numerous in this townland in former times.
    The old people say that there was about eighteen more houses
