  1. Ricehill. There are nine families in our district. Brady and Smyth are the most common names. There are three thatched houses and seven slated. There are two old people in our district. There is one old person in our district and her name is Mrs. Pointz. She said that at Ricehill house gates that there were three houses and up near Jones' that a mane lived there and they called him Doctor Monaghan because he used make creels. In the house she lives in there was a night school in it long ago.
