- (continued from previous page)When all was made up, he dipped his fist into cold water, and he was so used to it, that he could stick his hand into the boiling grease, and mix it together.
When it was real tough he took it out, and pulled it from other, and mixed it together for hours till it got so tough, that a real sharp knife wouldn't cut it.
He rolled it in little balls which he used for "cobbling."
