- In olden times the old people had a great many old saying about the signs of the weather.
When it is going to rain there is a circle around the moon.
The rainbow spans the sky.
The stars look very gloomy.
If we are going to have good weather the sun goes down in the west in a golden colour.
When the wind blows from the east we mostly have rain.
