about ghosts and fairies. It is said that every ghost and fairy is out on Hallowe'en night to destroy the blackberries, and the people would not eat a blackberry for anything after that night.
A nine o'clock a piece of lead is got and a match is put to it and then images are made out of it.
When all the fun is over, the people kneel down and pray for the souls in Purgatory.
At ten o'clock the children get ready to go to go home, but some man or woman would have to go with them, because they are afraid they would meet a ghost or a fairy.
