  1. The name of our town land is Farnaglough, it is in the Parish of Mt Nugent, it's Barony is Oldcastle.
There are six families in the town land. Farrelly is the most common name.
The land is very boggy. There is a wood named Castlecor, it is not too small. There is a lake in Harry Porter's field Glenboy, Oldcastle, named Lough Red and there is a river running through Farnaglough bog into it. There is also a Mass rock at Lough Red where priests used to say Mass.
