    to the forge to be cured, but the cure does not seem to be very effective. The patient goes round the anvil nine times in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. There is a stone through at the side of the fireplace which is filled with water for cooling the iron. This water is said to be healing to skin eruptions.
