- Travelling people come to our home. These people have been coming to our home for many years. Some of these travellers are very poor and others of them are not so poor.
These people sell a lot of small articles. They sell studs, laces, ornaments, pictures, delph, brushes, soap, polish, tin and glass utensils. Plenty of people buy from the travellers to help them along. They get their supplies from the local shopkeepers. Some people make them welcome and others do not.
Sometimes they remain along the road for more than a night at a time camping. They sleep in their camps along the road. Some of them bring food with them and others get it in houses. They get meal, potatoes, eggs,(continues on next page)- Collector
