    family took it and was obliged to go to hospital for eight weeks. One of the family died - a girl of 11 years. The plague lasted until May. The doctor hardly knew what the disease was, they did not know what was best to give their patients for it was a strange disease in the country Nurses said it was worse than Malaria Fever, Any one who took this disease could not walk when they got out of bed.
