    Then, let us, my friends be united
    In the side of the Seanrog so green.
    My brethren be calm, still and steady
    Act manly, courageous and true
    If occasion calls on you to be ready
    And fall on the merciless crew.
    Dire vengeance grime death and confusion
    May widely expand o'er the scene
    Of tyrants' foul blood in profusion
    That deluged the Shamrock so green.
