    "Wait till you see all the money I have home to you." Matthew made her hold out her apron while he emptied the contents of his pockets and the sleeves of his coat into it.
    But instead of gold and silver coins, all he had were pieces of slaty stones, leaves of docking, thistles, and nettles.
    We will leave it to the imagination of the reader, what Matthew thought, and what Biddy said to him.
