Some birds do us good and other do us harm. It is said to be the who brought the first ear of corn to Brittany. The magpie and the hawk eat chickens and turkeys so they are disliked by the people.
The birds all talk amongst themselves but we cannot understand them. When one bird is in trouble or danger it calls other birds to is assistance. There was once a jackdaw who built her nest in an open chimney but one day the nest was taken out and wire hit on the chimney. The next morning the roof of the house was covered with jackdaws trying to get the wire off
