    food for set occasion such as Christmas day and Easter Sunday. On Christmas day they had a great feast, plenty of beef and drink of all sorts. They had eggs on Easter Sunday. Tea was first used in this part of the country about seventy or eighty years ago. There were no such things as cups in those days it was big round things made of wood they used, they were called noggans.
