You hear great praise of Keady boys,
    And boys from Ballinamore
Boys from Muff and Ballyduff who often suffered sore
Boys from Clare and far more rare that fought on Tara's hill
There were none there that could compare,
With the Shamrock boys of Kill

Now to conclude and made an end, my pen I shall leave down
