  2. On Aug 15th 1893 a party left the Kerry shore on a pleasure trip. They left their boats at Moyne Quay and went on to Kilrush - some of them went to Kilkee and came home late. When they came to their boats it was beginning to get dark so the people of Moyne asked the girls to stay in
