- On Saint Stephens day some people go about playing fiddles and Melodeons, and are dressed up in disguise with tall hats an feathers in them mostly pheasants feathers, and calling for money to bury the wren, and they say, that if they do not get money, they will bury the wren at your door. The first of May is another feast day. Most young people go about and scatter flowers in honour of our Blessed Lady.
