When a person wishes to harm another, he goes to the well on May Eve and puts earth and horse-shoe nails into it.In olden times, the people picked an herb called "Traoinlis" and rubbed it tot he cows' udders so that anybody would not take the butter from them.It was the custom to get up before sunrise and wash one's face in the dew to prevent sun-burn.
