    The land is hilly and fertile. There are three lakes that border the townland. They are called The Long Lough, The Round Lough, and The Little Lough.
    Long ago the monks had a monastery in Clonocey. The ruins can be seen to the present day. It is not used as a graveyard. The monks had an ox which was able to take a load from the land in Clonocey to the monastery in Ballinlough.
    One day the ox was missing and could not be found. Then one old monk knelt down and
