    They searched fields and bog-holes but they could not find her.
    Then they got a boat and went down the river. They found her standing up in the water with a Sacred Heart badge in one hand and a Statue of the Blessed Virgin in the other. She was dead. They brought her to the shore and carried her to the house where she was washed and dressed and laid out on a bed. She was buried next day in Trinity Island. The funeral was largely attended. The neighbours have great sympathy for Mr Gilroy.
