    shaped and constructed of a number of small stones. It is supported by five large granite pillars about eight inches in diameter and these rest on rings of stones for a base.
    It is said to be a fairly modern construction as the stones are fairly well dressed.
    There is a floor in the bottom covering about two square yards. In the centre of the floor is a mark something like the mark of a bullocks foot and people say it is the mark burned in it by the "devil's hoof" but when or how he made the mark no one knows.
