  1. Finn McCool wanted to throw a big stone from Slevenamon to Cahir one day. Whilst throwing it, he slipped and the stone fell in Giantsgrave, outside Clerihan. That stone is still to be seen in the place.

    On the road between Clerihan and Cahir, beyond Ballingeary is a place called Knockfee = Cnoc Fiadh = hill of the deer.
