    at the head of the bed the person was going to live.
    The people had great faith in this young man. He used to make great sums of money by making up useless medicine and giving it to the sick people, knowing that they would get better, if Death was standing at the head of the bed.
    One day the young man went into a house and found the people crying because their brother was dying. The young man was very sorry because Death was standing at the foot of the bed.. He knelt down and said a few prayers. Then he thought of a plan. He told the people to turn the bed around. Then Death was left standing at the head of the bed.
    Death was very angry with the young man, and told him the next time he would go on knees, he would take him. The young man in reply said, “That will be a long time.” The young man went around curing the people. Whenever he saw Death standing at the foot of the bed, he ordered the people to turn the bed around. Then Death would be standing at the head of the bed, and the person would live.
    He cured may people in this way, for many years. One day he went to the wake of a friend. When he went into the house all the people were kneeling down saying the Rosary. Forgetting himself, he went
