    auctioned. One man was appointed as auctioneer. Then all the others bid for the man who was up for sale. When a man bid he had to tell what he wanted with him.
    Marrying was continued in this district at wakes until about 20 years ago.
    4. When a person was dying the doors and windows were left open. It is said this was done to let the dying person's soul out.
    5. When remains were leaving the house a hole was made on the roof.
