    IV
The bets they were made at a hundred to four
That the cup back to Crieve would return no more,
But Jane she was listening - her mettle did rise,
Over hedges & ditches like lightening she flies
And with a loud neigh these words she did say-
"You Bellamount sportsmen I'll show you the way."
    V
When Jane and her jockey were half round the course,
He turned in his saddle and cast a look round
Say Squire Adams he lies on the ground.
And for Corry, by spankers he's thrown
And the rest of the others are not won in view
    VI
As Jane and her jockey came in at their ease
The two were surrounded with loud ringing cheers
For Jackson and Jane with the cup
Went to Crieve with honour again
So now to conclude and to finish my song,
Here's a health to Hugh Jackson and may he live long
He's a credit to his country for the deeds he has done,
And his parents are blessed with their one darling son.
