Local Beliefs.
1. Evil Eye. To give a drink to a person with evil eye means loss of milk and butter.
2. If the Evil eyes is cast on an animal burn the alphabet under animal's nose. If this is not successful in curing get piece of person's coat and burn it or cause person to come and say "God bless the animal.
3. Cows are supposed to be struck by elves are cured by the water in which elf stones, silver and copper nails have been boiled.- Informant
