   The following lines refer to a member of the R.I.C. who was stationed in Arva years ago. When Constable Gurry went out on his beat He looked up and down and all over the street. He'd a cane in his hand and a scowl on his face For the week was nigh spent as And he hadn't a case While his rival cute Latimer had 22 So his chance of the stripes were exceedingly blue. There was hardly a hope of suppressing a riot For the town as a graveyard was peaceful and quiet. When a green flag displayed from a window he spied "It's additional disloyalty and treason"
