  1. There are three graveyards in Knockbride Parish. There are two graveyards at Knockbride church and old one and a new one.
    The old one is behind the church and there are the ruins of an old church in this graveyard. It is said that long ago both protestants and Catholics worshipped in this church. The Catholics had mass early in the morning and the Protestants had their service at a later hour every Sunday.
    There are not many people buried in the old graveyard now but Protestants and Catholics were buried in it at one time.
    There is a vault in the old graveyard and it is about one hundred years since any one was put into it.
