- The townland in wich I live (Dernakesh) got its name from a oak kesh. It was between Dernakesh and Crann. The kesh was replaced by a concrete bridge about 100 years ago.
Corragarry got its name from the rough curragh which now belongs to Johnny Bannon. It touches Dernakesh.
