    There rose a great Regatta
    ‘Twas there good men were tried
    Ten chosen from Bunratty
    They were fit to draw a car
    The Cratloe boys sent in ten men
    To pull the Tug-a-War.

    To catch it firm and strong
    The Cratloe boys they gave one pull
    And the others came along.
    And if the rope was log enough
    They d pull em across the tide,
    And the Cratloe boys without surprise
