    There is remains of an old house at the side of the forge in the field of Thomas Lee, of Ballymorris, Cratloe Co Clare.

    ‘Twas at Bunratty Castle
    Down by the Shannon side,
    There rose a great Regatta
    ‘Twas there good men were tried
    Ten chosen from Bunratty
    They were fit to draw a car
    The Cratloe boys sent in ten men
    To pull the Tug-a-War.

    When the rope was given to each man
    To catch it firm and strong
    The Cratloe boys they gave one pull
    And the others came along.
    And if the rope was log enough
    They d pull em across the tide,
    And the Cratloe boys without surprise
