    My Grandmother told me about match-making. The man would come to the brides house and he would bring his friends with hin. They used to spend a few hours in the brides house talking. One of the men would stand up & say that there was a young man here that wanted a wife & that the girl of the house would be suitable for him. Then they would begin match-making.
