    the water was taken out of the potatoe's, they were mixed with flour and salt shaped and baked on a grid. Oaten meal cake was made with oaten meal and put on a griddle. The things grown to make flour is wheat and oats, is grown to make meal. When the corn was threshed it was ground with a grind stone and made into oaten meal.
