    "Something old and something new,
    Something borrowed and something blue."
When the wedding is held in the bride's or bridegroom's house it is usual for boys to go in disguise, to the house where the wedding is being held and spend the night there dancing and singing. These boys are called claherects.
When the bride goes to her new home she does not return to her old home for a month, because it is considered unlucky to return before them. This is called a month's visit .
