They play in each house and others dance. Then they recite a little poem -
"The wren, the wren, the king of all birds,
On St Stephen's day, he was caught in the furze.
Up with the kettle and down with the pan,
A penny or twopence to bury the wren."
Then they passed to the next house and in this way they travel the district.
