    Winter. The farmer's wife makes the churning and if the farmer is not busy he helps her.
    If strangers come in while the churning is being made and goes out again without taking the churn dash butter will not come on the milk. It takes an hour to make a churning and sometimes it takes more.
    The churn dash is moved upwards and downwards while the churning is being done and when the churning is finished
