    People say that if the cuckoo comes early it is a bad sign and we shall have a bad Summer. It is an old saying that when people hear the cuckoo for the first time they take out money and spit on it because they believe they will then have luck for the year.
    When young people hear the cuckoo for the first they look in the direction the cuckoo is as they believe that that is the direction there future husband
