    Before the people go to bed on Christmas night it is right to sweep the floor and to put down a fire.
    If a person dies any time after Christmas eve until after the Twelfth night, that person is sure to go to heaven.
    It is right to get holly and ivy on Christmas night and to leave the holly and ivy and not stir them until after the twelfth night.
    On St. Stephen's night the grown ups used to dress and to put false face on them and to go about through the villages.
