Some people spray the potatoes two times others spray them three times and others spray them four times.
Potatoes are dug out of the ground in October. The farmer digs a pit in the ground about six inches deep and about one yard wide and about from three to six yards in length, and into this pit he puts the potatoes that are sound and from middling sized ones to big ones. When he has the pit filled he covers the potatoes with earthed scraws, then he covers the scraws with clay to protect the potatoes from frost and the severe weather during the Winter.
