  1. There is a large amount of potatoes growing in my district. It is the farmers grow the most potatoes. The land is fairly[?] rich and good in our district for growing potatoes. They put seaweed in the ground and other manures such as nitre, sufer[?] plaorphate[?] and other bag manures. Then they plough the land and harrow it, and open[?] drills, they put more manure near the drills, and set the potatoes. They let one "eye"
