    At the north of Ballyheigue in Glendahillon there is a blessed well, and there is a story connected with it. There is a hill near the well and on the top of it there is ruins of a chapel.
    One night there did a ship came in to the harbour, and the sailor said to the nuns that hey intended to kill them. The nuns started praying and the Reverend mother prayed to God and at that minute the sailors were struck blind on the
