    October 10, 1938
    told his servanto to put a barrel of tar under the chimney so that anyone who came down would fall into it. When Jack came again he saw the trap and avoided it. he said to his master next day, "What a fool you are that didn't go. Now we would have six bags of gold instead of three." The master seeing how light Jack was getting out went the next night, and when they were on top of the chimney Jack said "Let you go down first, and fill your bag.
