    The patron Saint of this parish is St. Cronan. The right name of this parish is Inchicronan but all the people around call it Crusheen for short.
    There is a large lake in the parish also, and it is called after him too the people call it the Island Lake" where as its right name is Inchicronan Lake.
    St Cronan founded a monastery on a large peninsula in the lake mentioned, but
