    The Feasts of the Year.
    St .Bridgets day falls on the first day of February .People make a cross in honour of St.Bridget's feast.It is usually made of a light piece of timber.Sometimes people make it of plaited straw .It is only put up at one side of the house but of the roof.
    St.Patricks day which is one of the most important feasts in Ireland it is always celebrated on the 17 March.On that day the people wear the Shamrock.it is great for celebrating in the towns and cities .The people parade the streets in procession,the bands play
