    Marriages Nowadays are few and far between in this Parish,but this was not the case some years ago because marriages were very common then. Nearly every marriage occurs during Shrove .Shrove lasts from the seventh of January to the day before Ash Wednesday ,which is Shrove Tuesday .
    Friday is considered an unlucky day on which to get married ,and June is considered an unlucky month .Matches do not occur very often now but some time ago they
