    hundred years ago since marriages were held in the houses.They used to hold marriages in olden times ,and they used t be preparing a week before hand.It was held in the girls house.The "Straw Boys" used attend and dance around the house and get refreshments, and they used to leave the house quietly.They used to have straw twisted round their arms, waists, and legs and also on their hats.They used not dress in green ,black, yellow because these were thought unlucky colours.The women used to sit behind the men in the racing.
