are sure of a storm if we see the cat scraping with her nails. Another sign of rain is, if we see the curlews perched on the fields. If we see the swallow flying low we are sure of rain. When we see a yellow bough around the moon it is the sign of rain or snow. If we see small flies running along the ground it is the sign of rain. If the sun is red when it is setting we are sure of fine weather. If the wind is from the north we will have snow.
