   The Cradle: bits of sting on finger tops - six diff. moves from ones person's hand to another, resulting in six different shapes. "Blind Tom" with bird's eggs. Eggs, having been taken from the bird's nest, were placed on the road with a space of 3 or 4 ins between each. Each player was blindfolded in turn, supplied with a stick & set on his errand of destruction. "Turning the Wild Cat" - heels over head hanging on to forked bough etc. Marbles: 2 diff games (a) Marbles and (b) "Hole & the Taw". Latter game played with 3 holes in the field, but as it was the Mollys' game I know nothing about it except that it was played with big white marbles called jarrows. The holes were in a straight line about 2 - 3 foot asunder.
