  1. I heard this story about the donkey. The reason he has long ears is, one day the king of animals called all the animals of the wood together and asked did they all know their names. He started with the bear, then the lion and so on until he came to the donkey. He asked the donkey did he know his name and he did not answer. He asked again and no answer. Then he got angry and caught the donkey by the ears and pulled them. They stretched out and became very long and ever since the donkey has long ears.
