The man was in bed but not asleep. The robber began raiding the house, the old man heard the robber but he was not a bit afraid. He said to the robber that it was hard for him to get anything in the darkness of the night where it was impossible for him to get it in the brightness of day. Some time ago there was a woman very sick. The people of the house sent for the young doctor that lived near them. When he came he did not know what was wrong with her.
When they sent for the old doctor he happened to see some cockle shells under the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
